Potplayer is excellent but last few versions are detected virus activity by reputable AV company software.
Any clues how i can get Pot player acceptable again?
Anyway to stop this virus suspicious activity?

reported by my IT manager as
"Defense Evasion via Process Injection"

Email from it manager says
"Another FYI for you. Good old “Daum_PotPlayer_(64bit)_v1.7.20977.exe” is up to some tricks again."
Subject: ALERT: [Medium] Malicious activity detected

they dont care and just ban it and sack staff who might continue to load it!
However it is the only and best program i use to review video files and i am familiar with it.
Seems related to the installation program and or codec loading part of the installer.

Can you stop injection????
thanks for a program that has now become a lost freind.

Original file names is PotPlayerSetup64.exe and PotPlayerSetup.exe - official links available on - or
Always try the latest beta version (now x64 only) before continuing a discussion here.
When you have a problem (Follow steps 1,2,3)
This is NOT official support though. It is my contribution to Potplayer.
