I would like to repeatedly loop play favorite scenes in a video file A1-B1 , A2-B2 , A3-B3, etc.

1A) Does the A-B Repeat Setup permit that scenario:

Mark segments in one video file: A1-B1 , A2-B2 , A3-B3, etc.
Then A-B Repeat would play segment A1-B1, jump to and play segment A2-B2, jump to and play segment A3-B3, etc.
and then keep repeated playing those segments.

If Yes, how to fill in A-B Repeat Setup dialog box?

1B) In general, please give info/instructions for using the A-B Repeat menu options and the A-B Setup dialog box.
Please include an explanation of the difference between subtitle/marker sections (and how to setup each type)

OR

2) Does the Skip Feature Setup permit that scenario?
In general, please give info/instructions for using Skip Feature Setup dialog box

OR
some other Potplayer feature that accomplishes this scenario?

3) As an extra feature during the repeat loop, press a backward/forward key to jump to the previous/next segment without waiting for the current segment to finish playing...

4) How to save the segments (AB Repeat or Skip Feature) so I don't have to redo the programming steps when I play that video file in the future?

1A)
Set next options:
Main menu - Playback - Repeat Playback - Enable: Repeat playing file
Main menu - Playback - A-B Repeat - Remember A-B Sections
then
start playback your video file

then open A-B Repeat Setup dialog:
Main menu - Playback - A-B Repeat - A-B Repeat Setup...

add your sections, configure points - A B for all sections,
and set all sections as Loop 1

then just start repeating of "Loop 1" sections:
Main menu - Playback - A-B Repeat - A-B Repeat Setup...
Image

so your "Loop 1" sections will be repeated.

2)
Add your markers(Bookmarks) on file (P key)
then open Edit Bookmarks dialogue:
Main menu - Playback - Chapter/Bookmarks - Edit Bookmarks...

and you can edit title of bookmarks
for example change to
Code: Select all
Skip

Then open Skip Setup dialogue:
Main menu - Playback - Skip - Skip Setup...
enable "Chapter Title" and type title as:
Code: Select all
Skip

Image

or just use default names of Bookmarks - opening;begin;ending

so if you enable the Skip function, the Bookmarks with the name "Skip" will be skipped
