Here is the link for PotPlayer Portable (32-bit) ... r-portable

PotPlayer is packaged for portable use with permission from the publisher.

Here are the both, 32 and 64 bit versions and old versions, without adware yet:

Thanks for posting this, I should have known to look for a portable apps version of it. It would be nice if the developers let you opt out of the additional software in the main version. It was bad enough that during an update PotPlayer always wants to change your file associations by default, but since it started to 'force' additional software to be installed with no apparent way to opt-out, I started telling friends to uninstall PotPlayer and use VLC or MPC-HC instead. I'll look at the PortableApps version but I am still wary of using this program.

You can skip installing the adware! Just untick the "agree" checkbox for it. AFAIK, this should work for now. You can also uninstall the adware, but it would be very annoying to uninstall it every time, especially for the beta versions.

Anyway, PotPlayer is still much better than any other player and I think even the last adfree version will be still better for a very long time.

Update: it's still just one click to skip ad installation, just the button names changed, you have to uncheck the checkbox for "agree" and click the "accept" button - ad will NOT be installed this way, 100% confirmed.

Good News!!!

It look like the developer may have listened to all the complaints they most likely get and finally removed the Adware which ask you to install extra software during install.

This is the first version in a long time that was not blocked by Windows security anti virus and there is no extra adware installer as far as I can tell.

I hope it stays that way.

Now when adware is gone, I have been thinking about giving some support to this superb player. Does anyone know if they have some preferred method to support them with small amount of money? In my opinion, this is so good product they deserve some voluntery support from happy users.

I don't think it's possible - and I'm not sure if it will stay adfree, check this topic:
