Hi there. I am trying to use potplayer but I am fighting against echo sounds and poor audio quality. The echo sounds are so low I think some ears couldn't feel them, but I keep hearing them in the same spots of the videos everytime, it is really annoying. When going from very low sounds to high sounds there also is a very poor quality.
I can't reproduce those 2 problems with other video players.
Thank you.

Maybe audio effects is used:
Menu - Audio - Audio Effects

or
Trу reset settings (Preferences - Reset)
Always try the latest beta version (x32 only) before continuing a discussion here.
When you have a problem (Follow steps 1,2,3)
This is NOT official support though. It is my contribution to Potplayer.

The poor sound quality seems gone now but.. the audio keeps changing alone. It goes high and low by itself and I don't know what settings causes it.
Edit: Found it. It was caused by normalization. It should be disabled by default in my opinion.
Thanks!

Okay, it seems I didn't really solve it. The audio quality is still extremely poor as the sounds seem to be likely corrupted.
VLC plays it very nicely, but OBS can't do it.

Are you using different speed for playback? If so, try to use "Audio speed control - Use FFmpeg audio..".

If not, try to play with audio settings, use "stereo" option instead 5.1 and change other options too, like "Normalize matrix" and others...
