OK so this is all very confusing. I have at the moment a pair of very old speakers. Unfortunately one of them is kinda broken, that is, the membrane is broken. So when I try to listen to music at a decent volume - you know the effect, the speaker with the broken membrane just goes KRR-KRR-KRR whenever there's bass.

So I need to turn the balance knob all the way to 'right', to basically switch off the broken speaker completely. Is it possible that there is no such thing as a simple balance slier in potplayer? I found the 'individual volume control' stuff, but, curiously, none of these sliders seems to really turn off the left channel.
Am I missing sthg here?

PS oh and i don't want to simply remove the left (broken) speaker from my setup, cause at lower volumes it's still ok-ish...

Take a look at your sound card driver's control panel.

The feature requires built-in filters. Reset the player and try again.
Always try the latest beta version (x32 only) before continuing a discussion here.
This is NOT official support though. It is my contribution to Potplayer.

Yes, finally. Thanks! ^^ The problem mostly was that the audio cable was kinda broken too...
